2021, analog collage

Today I took myself on a date; morning stroll, coffee at a cafe, a fashion magazine and my journal.  While flipping through this month's Bazaar magazine an idea for a collage sparked. I was feeling the pastel color pallet, sparkles, and painterly stylization. There was an ethereal quality to the photos. As each page turned my mind wandered further to thoughts of mermaids and the sea.

I drew inspiration from the above photos published in the Harper’s Bazaar September 2021 Dutch magazine. 

I ended up going live on my YT channel today. It was a bit of a disaster. I forgot to turn my sound on. I rambled. There was no conclusion, just a long string of unrelated thoughts. If you want to hear me say “ummmmm” a lot, enjoy.
